Social Tourism:

Investing in Happiness

Unique trips built to combine our love for travel along with positive social contribution, in a style that is part of a fast-spreading global trend known as Social Tourism.
At Vivid Israel we specialize in creating fun, experiential and memorable trips to Israel, and strive to leave a positive mark along the process, with impact-minded travel, or as we call it – “investing in happiness” – our own as well as others.
As a part of that we aim on working with local providers, adding personal encounters & including sites and activities that relate to a wide range of social-orientated topics such as ecology & sustainability, social entrepreneurship, empowerment in different communities and more. The outcome is an authentic experience that takes travelers deep into Israel in a fun, personal and meaningful way.
Social tourism has become more than just an idea, it’s a philosophy which advocates contribution to society through varies aspects of the tourism industry.
By investing in local communities
while traveling, this has become a mainstream trend in a world where the masses have more means and time dedicated to travel. The United Nations declared 2017 as the International Year of Sustainable Tourism. We at Vivid Israel imagine this type of tourism will keep growing and impacting, and are proud to be an active part of its development.

What are social sites/activities?
It could be through a taste of Israel’s fast developing wine industry, with a visit to the award winning “Tulip winery”, operated inside the town of Hope (Kfat Tikva), established to house and provide fulfilling live for people with special needs;  Taking a fun interactive workshop at one of Israel’s world-renown R&D Centers for Ecology & Bio Agriculture; Eating your way through one of Israel’s vibrant multi-cuisine markets, finishing the tour helping at a local soup kitchen for the less fortunate – and many other options which are a real way to broaden cultural perspective while having fun & making a difference!

What makes Israel the perfect destination for impact-minded travel?
Israel is a rare rainbow of color and diversity, where religions, languages, cultures, kitchens, landscapes, wildlife & lifestyles meet-up to create a unique, complex & wonderful Mosaic (hence the name)
It’s this richness & diversity which springs up so many social-impact platforms, integrated into our tours with a wide range of interests all throughout the country, for every season & reason.
Our social-impact trips include exposure to the Start-up nation’s , culinary tours, unique communities in society, eco-tourism in the land of milk and honey, heritage and spirituality, art and culture, nature adventures, wine industry etc
